Roof Survey and Conditions Report - Newly installed slate roof. It's a good idea to have a new slate roof project reviewed by a consultant prior to installation, or even prior to construction, if possible. Otherwise, the newly installed slate roof can be surveyed after installation prior to making the final payment to the contractor. If there are any defects, a punch list can be created for the contractor to take care of prior to receiving a final payment.
